Student User Accounts & Credential Reset Guide
Manage student portal login accounts, trigger temporary password resets, unlock suspended accounts, and monitor student user status.

Before You Begin (Prerequisites)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Open Student Accounts
Go to User Management > Student.

Search Student
Enter Student ID, Name, or Email address.

Trigger Password Reset / Unlock
Click 'Send Password Reset Link' or generate a temporary OTP code for in-person student assistance.
Important Business Rules & Invariants
Student Identity Verification: Helpdesk staff must verify student physical ID or registered phone number before generating manual password reset OTPs.
Common Questions & Troubleshooting
Accounts lock automatically after 5 consecutive incorrect password attempts. Staff can click 'Unlock Account' to restore access.
